Who is Nicole Bott ?

A winegrower from Ribeauvillé with a passion for wine tourism, she enthusiastically contributes her experience to wine tourism in Alsace through her work with the CIVA and the Confrérie Saint Etienne. She unites the key players in the development of Alsace tourism around innovative projects and helps to raise the profile of Alsace wines in France and abroad.

Her vision

Géovino is a unique concept in France that showcases the expertise of winegrowers in the Ribeauvillé com and surrounding area by introducing visitors to

• grape varieties
• the geology
• the history of the vineyards
• the work of the vine
• the environment
• biodiversity and many other aspects

Géovino brings together wine tourism operators from the 11 communes in the vineyard, organising events and contributing to the appeal of the vineyard in a fun way.

The wine trails are interconnected and easily accessible and understandable to all in French and English.

Thanks to signposts and educational and artistic terminals, visitors will be accompanied along the route to spend a convivial moment discovering the vineyards in a breathtaking environment.

Géovino creates a direct link with consumers, who naturally become ambassadors for Alsace wines.

Discovering the vineyards in the presence of the winemaker, followed by a tasting in his cellar, will leave visitors with unforgettable memories of our beautiful wine-growing region and its wines of character.
