Pascal SCHULTZ
Who is Pascal Schultz ?
A former public prosecutor and advocate general at the Colmar Court of Appeal, he has been involved with the Confrérie St-Etienne for nearly 30 years.
Grand Maitre 2017, he has been very keen to promote Alsace wines in France and around the world.
For the first time, he brought together all the foreign delegations of the Confrérie at the Château de Kientzheim, where he undertook the restoration of the exterior.
His vision
Situated on a vast field of geological fractures, the 11 territories of the communes involved are so original that this could only lead to originality in wine tourism.
GEOVINO perfectly reflects the mosaic of terroirs that leads inexorably to the mosaic of wine production.
But here, originality meets exceptionality. Each visitor is offered new walking routes, each identified by the rocks in the subsoil, for the sake of quality education.
This playful yet scientific approach to the vineyards, based on their geology, leads from the soul of the sites to the emotion generated by the wines. From the richness of wine tourism to the elevation of culture. The art of the winegrower is magnified by his knowledgeable explanations in the field and his passionate tastings in the cellars.
The sheer number and diversity of the sites on offer gives everyone the chance to enjoy a real holiday in space and time, on our sun-drenched hillsides and in our attractive villages. There’s no doubt that the wine tourism sector is young, dynamic and cultural, and that its influence is felt throughout central Alsace, where there’s no shortage of good places to stay.
